April 8, 2016 -- It was a fairly odd week in Southern California with regard to the weather. Not because it rained, which can be unsettling for some people around here, but because the temperature seemed to fluctuate from day-to-day quite drastically. One day it was hot, similar to the early portion of summer, and on another day, it was cold and rainy like a typical winter shower. The campus was buzzing more than usual because there were a lot of events in preparation for next year's incoming freshmen. There was to be a luncheon outside in one of the campus courtyards, but because of the impending rainfall, this was moved to the inside of the gym. I helped clean up the media room in the gym, as it had not been attended to since the end of the basketball season. Essentially, I removed all the clutter and unnecessary paperwork and brought some more order. Also, I wound up some of the loose cords that were not being used, as they were contributing to some of the clutter and ability to walk through the room. Good end to the week, and nice to see the next class of incoming students ready to begin their college lives.
